A day under sail
Both yachts are private and leave from Portimão Marina with skipper, fuel and insurance.
Do we need sailing experience?
No. The skipper sails the boat, and you can help with the sails if you’d like to learn.
Where do we go?
Head east past Ferragudo to the caves of Carvoeiro and Benagil, or west towards Alvor. The skipper picks the calmest bay for swimming.
What’s included

Group sizes
The Oceanis 41.1 takes up to 10 guests and the Oceanis 55 up to 14.

How much is a private sailing trip in Portimão?
From €850 for 3 h 30 on the Oceanis 41.1 and €1,700 on the Oceanis 55. Full days start at €1,350. Prices include VAT.
Is a sailing yacht good for a sunset cruise?
Yes. A 2 h 30 sunset sail is one of the most peaceful ways to end the day in the Algarve.
Where do the boats leave from?
Every boat on this site leaves from Portimão Marina. We send you the exact meeting point when your booking is confirmed. Please arrive 15 to 30 minutes before departure.
How does the 25% deposit work?
Choose your boat, date and time and send us the booking by WhatsApp or email. We confirm availability and send you a secure link to pay the deposit. You pay the rest on the day.
What is the cancellation policy?
It depends on the boat and is confirmed before you pay. If the skipper cancels because of the weather or sea conditions, you can move your date or get your deposit back.
Do prices include VAT?
Yes. All prices shown include Portuguese VAT and are per boat, not per person. They are confirmed when you book.
Do I need a boat licence?
No. Every boat comes with a professional skipper, and fuel and insurance are included.
